Northern Germany's (perhaps) most active metalcore band of the hour is back: "Meant To Live" is the first new single from RISING INSANE and impresses not only with a powerful sound and rousing video, but above all with a thematic depth: the single treats the post-traumatic stress disorder of two band members - and shows ways out of this personal crisis!

"'Meant to Live' is the mental empowerment, the kick-start song to take up the fight against our burdens and depression", singer Aaron describes the background of the song.

Rising Insane is not only the name, but also what has literally happened to these 5 guys from Northern Germany in recent years. After their self-released debut album "Nation" in 2017, the band quickly gained attention in the German metal scene on shows with Stray From The Path and For Today and a support slot for Annisokay on their 2018 Headline Run. In 2019 they played at the Impericon Festival and were signed by Long Branch Records. This led to the first label release "Porcelain" in November 2019, which received excellent reviews worldwide and brought the band into international focus. After the album was released, the band continued to work and recorded a highly acclaimed cover version of "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd.

Due to the pandemic, the first headline tour in 2020 had to be canceled and the band decided to stay active and recorded an EP called "Recovered" with even more cover versions of songs from the past 35 years, including "Blinding Lights".
