Gardner Leonard are a West Midlands based pop-punk/emo duo consisting of Daryl Gardner & Rhiannon Leonard. Daryl Gardner is best known for his re-recording of Metallica’s 2003 album St. Anger, which went viral in 2015 receiving universal acclaim. After taking a few years away from music to focus on his career and personal well-being, he approached Rhiannon Leonard, a talented singer-songwriter that he knew from college, and through 2020 began sending ideas back and forth, before deciding to become a duo and self releasing their debut album ‘Milquetoast’ on January 15th 2021!

Their influences range from pop to metal, but Milquetoast is a pop-punk record which is a throwback to the 00s, taking inspiration from anthems by Paramore, Motion City Soundtrack, Brand New, Funeral for a Friend and My Chemical Romance.
