Band of the Week - NEWMEDS

Based in Hull, Yorkshire, NEWMEDS are determined to become the soundtrack to escape, the sonics behind self-belief, and the underdog pushing for a revolution in a time of change and doubt. Continuing to help shed the misconception that heavy alternative music can’t flourish anywhere outside of London, the lyrics of front man Nick Cobley often examine mental health issues, including topics of irrational thinking and paranoia.

Band of the Week - Severed Illusions

Severed Illusions was formed in 2013. They have been through a couple of line up changes but the current line up now consists of Carlos and Kyle on Vocals, Stu on Bass, Ant on Drums and Charlie on Guitar. SI are currently signed to Artillery Music Group, USA. They've played shows all over including M2TM in Swindon and Cardiff, coming 2nd on both occasions. The band also opened for HedPE at the Bierkeller in Bristol before it shut its doors. Severed Illusions describe their sound as Hardcore\Metal and for fans of bands such as Hatebreed, Soulfly, Terror and Madball.

Galway, Ireland’s Light Grey are Ciaran Nevin (guitar/vocals) and Mikey Connolly (bass/backing vocals). Entrenched deep within the captivating domain of third wave pop punk, the duo draws on elements of emo and hip hop to create an effervescent energy all of their own.

Band of the Week - Promise Game

Lyrically relevant, creatively bound, and harmonically emphasized. Southern NH's Promise Game identifies themselves as Multi-Genre Punk Rock, driven by a strong balance of early 2000’s pop punk & other modern day genres. This group of long-time friends formed what is now known as "PG" in the early months of 2020, and released their debut EP It Won't Be Long Now... in February 2021.

The Camel City Blackouts are a band that was formed in the Fall of 2015 out of a mutual love of punk rock and drinking. Based out of Winston Salem, North Carolina the band consists of the 2 original members Derek Gilreath and Ryan Sizemore.

Band of the Week - All Better

All Better play energetic punk rock songs both you and your mum will want to have a dance to. Formed in Brighton 2018, All Better's blend of high energy punk riffs and infectious pop hooks have led them to tour the UK and mainland Europe a number of times and allowed them to share the stage with the likes of Remo Drive, As It Is, Roam, Spanish Love songs and Pkew Pkew Pkew.

Band of the Week - Tyrants

TYRANTS are a four piece hardcore/death outfit hailing from Swindon, UK. Since their formation, TYRANTS have had the pleasure of working with Beheading The Traitor, Hardcore Keem, Too Lit Mafia, BBC Introducing & more on their debut single 'FEAR' - which since release in November 2020 now stands at over 60,000 combined views and listens. TYRANTS have since released their second single 'APOSTLE' in April 2021 courtesy of Slam Worldwide on YouTube and on all major streaming platforms. A 3rd single is following soon...
