In 2017, after a few musical collaborations with drummer Justin Unterseh, Wes decided he couldn’t keep the music bottled up anymore and began releasing songs again.

Halflives (Paris, FR) have released brand new single, 'Vibe'. The single follows the bands EP, Resilience, that was released last year. Speaking on the new single Linda said "I grew tired of playing nice and bottling all my anger up, I let it all out on "Vibe" (just so you know, the working title for this song was "bullshit"). While I was writing it I was picturing myself as a sort of leader of the French Revolution, and I was leading all the misfits and the ones that had been left out to power. That’s what "Vibe" is about. Letting everybody know they have a place in this world, just gotta fight for it and rebel a bit when things feel unfair."

Canadian post-hardcore/alternative rock group Coe Hill release their massive debut single "Deadweight" which features Hayden Trobee from the band Tigerwine on vocals via Blackgate Records. Lyrically, the song is about how Hayden grew up in an evangelical family and as he got older and started making his own decisions in life, his views and outlooks on the world changed and he became an atheist, which is heavily depicted in the chorus vocal line "I'm Waking Up". Although this is a very specific story to Hayden, everyone has gone through their own personal growth and development in life and can relate to the song and lyrics in their own way.
